Our Carers Corners are held on the 1st Friday of every month. They are safe spaces to Listen, Learn and Share.
They are often quite informal, but allow people who look after someone with a dementia the time and space to listen and/or contribute to the conversations which cover a variety of topics including the day to day realities of caring full time for someone with a serious degenerative health condition.
Help, support and advice is available in abundance, and referral to other agencies can be given if this is required.
There is nothing to fear and everything to gain from having time with fellow peers of the group, and it also allows some much needed time away from your loved one, whilst knowing they are safe in the room next door enjoying meaningful activities.
